The song in
the opening is Talking Heads' Once in a Lifetime. Given Azz's
recently professed love of the English Premiership (that's football,
in case you were unaware), Echo's referral to Ronnie Rome as "Roonnie",
which frankly jars with a French accent, is more likely a reference
to Manchester United's spud-faced, foul-mouthed little thug of a
striker, Wayne Rooney. Trini's gift to Shepherd is never explained,
but within the flashback there are many allusions to Shepherd's
sexuality, and the suggestion that he is gay. Looking at Trini, the
gift might be something oral. |
