Cole was the first seen to be reactivated. He had been selling ice cream and running deals for a racketeer prior to his return to Graves' side. He played the loyal soldier, acting for Graves in several key matters, but following the murder of Branch, Cole walked. His loyalties became  unclear. A move to join Lono's crew whilst carrying the painting moved Lono to order his death, but Cole survived and has sworn his revenge, dragging Loop along for the ride.
